- We are at the heart of the town of Kalibo, and we are very accessible even if you are coming from adjacent towns of Aklan, as well as adjacent provinces of Antique (northern), and Capiz.

- Classes are on-going whole year long. Our training curriculum is designed with 5 modules (rotation style), as such, one can enroll anytime and start with any of the module, and finish the course after finishing all 5 modules.
- One can enroll anytime.
- Classes are held Monday to Fridays, 8AM – 5PM
- On-the-Job Trainings schedules vary, depending on the facility partner schedules
- Caregiver NCII takes about 786 hours, or around 5 months.
- Typically, one can finish the course in 786 hours, or around 5 months. However, flexible training schedules can be arranged, especially for working students. They just have to finish the 5 modules in 5 months, before getting a Caregiver NCII Assessment and subsequently, undergoing On-the-Job Training (OJT) in a healthcare facility.
- Caregiver NCII Assessment and OJTs typically are scheduled 4 times a year, in the months of March, June, September and December. The flexible student may stretch – or even hasten up – the modules into several class days, as long as they finish in time for NCII Assessment (and eventually OJT)
- Module 1 – Care for Infants, Toddlers, and Children
- Module 2 – Care for the Elderly
- Module 3 – Care for Clients with Special Needs
- Module 4 – First Aid and Basic Life Support
- Module 5 – Home and Meal Management, Communication Skills and Personality Management
- A student may take the Caregiver NCII Assessment once the student finished all 5 modules of the Caregiver course.
On-the-Job Training (OJT) takes up 1 month, and is usually held at health facility partners like (but not limited to)
- Aklan Cooperative Mission Hospital
- Dr Ramon S Tumbukon Memorial Hospital
- Kalibo Municipal Health Office
- Others
- A student will receive a completion certificate, Caregiver NCII Certificate, after completing all modules and exams, Caregiver NCII Assessment, and finishing 1 month of On-the-Job Training (OJT).
- Certificates will be handed in a graduation ceremony.
- All students of the Caregiver program are required to don uniforms during their training, as well as during On-the-Job Training (OJT). Uniforms are not included in the tuition fee.

- A student may pay the tuition fee upfront or may avail of friendly payment terms.
- Breakdown:
- Down payment ₱7,000 + Miscellaneous fees (₱2075)
- 2nd payment ₱7,000
- 3rd payment ₱7,000
- 4th payment ₱7,000
- 5th payment ₱2,900
- Miscellaneous fees are paid separately.
- Down payment is 7,000 pesos (~$130 USD)
- After paying the tuition fee (either straight or in terms) one can immediately start joining the classes.
- On-the-Job Training fees are separate from the tuition fee.
OJT fees are usually paid to the Clinical Instructor fees, and a minimal fee for the training facilities. These fees usually are in the ₱1,000 – 2,000 range ($20-$40)
Questions on Scholarships
- We have TESDA – Private Education Student Financial Assistance or (TPESFA) scholarships for the tuition fee for eligible students. The number of scholarship slots varies throughout the year, but is given by San Lorenzo in a first come first served basis for eligible students.
- If one is interested in the scholarship, one may contact us or visit us in the center so we may put you in the list or queue.
- Only the tuition, registration, and assessment fees are covered by the TPESFA scholarship.
- Miscellaneous fees are not covered by the scholarship.
- As per TESDA requirements, TPESFA requirements are the following:
- Must have completed at least 10 years of basic education;
- A Filipino Citizen of at least fifteen (15) years old at the start of the training;
- Have an annual family income of not more than P300,000.00.
- Once the student is deemed eligible, the student may provide the following documentary requirements:
- Copy of Report Card or Certificate from the previous school where the applicant has completed his/her 10 years of basic education;
- Annual Income Tax Return or Certificate of Compensation Payment/Tax Withheld for the previous year or Certificate of Exemption from Payment of Income Tax Return issued by Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) or Certificate of Indigency issued by the City/Municipal Mayor or City/Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (C/MSWDO) or Barangay Captain.
Curriculum Overview
These are the modules included in the Caregive NCII. A student may enter any module.
Care for Infants, Toddlers, and Children
This module covers the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to provide care and support to children from 3-12 years old.
Care for the Elderly
This module covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes required in providing support and assistance to maintain quality care for the elderly to meet his/her daily needs including nourishment, mobility, personal hygiene and other support within the plan of care.
Care for Clients with Special Needs
This module covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes required in providing support and assistance to maintain quality care for people with special needs to be able to enhance their abilities to communicate and be independent; responding to the physical, medical, health and safety, personal care and home maintenance requirements of people with disabilities
First Aid and Basic Life Support
This module covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to provide an initial response where First Aid is required, as to provide Basic Life Support.
Home and Meal Management
This module covers the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to perform home management by providing clean, secure and safe environment, as well as the knowledge, skills and attitudes in cooking basic hot food and cold meals.
Communication Skills & Personality Management
This module covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to gather, interpret and convey information in response to workplace requirements, as well in promoting career growth and advancement.
